Your Questions About Child Abuse Statistics

Lizzie asks…
Child abuse statistics by country?
Does anyone know where i can find the number of reported child abuse cases by country? or something similar, i need the statistics for Russia, Eastern Europe, and America. Anyone know of any article or website that has this data?

admin answers:
I don’t know where you could possibly find something like that, that is accurate. Eastern Europe is notoriously underreported for ALL crimes. Bribery is a way of life in Eastern Europe and most of the old Soviet block. My soon to be Russian son-in-law is astounded that he can’t bribe his professors for grades like he did in Russia. The difference in life outlook is astounding.

Mandy asks…
child abuse statistics by state?
Does anyone know where i can find a list of child abuse statistics listed by state?

Go to which state you are looking for Department of Children’s services web page. They always put the annual report on their web site.
Google the state and child abuse

What are the statistics of people who knows of child abuse happening and does not report?
I am doing a persuasive speech for a class on Child abuse and how there is a problem with people seeing and knowing that it is happening but not doing or reporting on it. I just cant find any statistics that proves this. Does anybody know of a website where i could find these statistics?

admin answers:
I can’t find the stats either but I would say the majority failing to report would be around 80% of the general public.
As a mandated reporter I have reported a couple of THOUSAND CASES in the past 36 yrs.

Lisa asks…
What are the statistics for child abuse and polygamy?
I am doing a research paper and I was wondering if there was any estimation of how many children in polygamist societies are abused. (Example: 1 out of 5, etc.)

admin answers:
I am guessing 1 out of 1 for the females because they get betrothed to creepy old men and the boys get kicked out if they look at girls.
