You can’t con an honest john – were the Madoff “victims” really that innocent?
They must have known something was up. If not the individual investors, then the funds that collected money from investors and gave it to Madoff definitly did. No one asks any questions!

Most of the “victims” were greedy. We lived in the Palm Beach area when he got caught. People waited in line to invest with Madoff. They made much higher returns on their investments than was realistic and told their friends to invest as well because of that reason. That’s the only way the Ponzi scheme kept going. Why invest with Madoff if anyone could get you a reasonable return on your money instead of a much higher rate.Now there’s a bunch of millionaires trying to sell off their yachts and mansions on the Intercoastal and hocking their jewelry and expecting sympathy.

If Hillary Clinton can’t even get 10% of the vote against Obama, what shot does McCain have?
Is he wasting his time going in front of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference & going to New Orleans to criticize the Katrina response?
BE HONEST: Is he better off concentrating on white, latino, & asian voters? Does he realistically have a chance of getting more than 6-8% of the black vote against Obama?

The “black vote” is traditionally overwhelmingly Democrat. Whether or not Obama is the Democratic nominee is irrelevant to this.

Most Australians tolerate Fibs, Is our So called Leader being Honest with us? Tampa, Low Interest Rates, No GST. How much more can we trust Him. Let us throw him out this time before he can do real damage with his Nuclear reactors.

I THINK he THINKS he is being honest with us … OR at least distorting the facts for our benefit ……
he gives us no credit for being able to recieve information and process it for ourselves…….

Let’s be honest; did John McCain stand a chance after 8 years of the dreadful, appalling, unqualified Bush?!?
I think that John McCain is honourable, decent, and would make a fine president but let’s be honest, what chance did he have after 8 years of Bush and the disgusting Cheney?!?

Most likely not. Odd thing about it is that he may have a better chance because he is running against a black man. Don’t get me wrong, this country has made great strides but there are still a level of the unknown and interpretation in that arena.
Also, and I know I am going to get blasted, he would have done so much better with the independents if he didn’t pick Sarah.

Your local bookstore has many books about real estate investments, and my suggestion is to purchase several books and “study” them for there content and ideas.
Start out small and then practice what you read.
My goal in the past was to acquire a property a year and hold long term.
